Exploration Directions

Legacy Corrupted Kingdoms uses directional exploration paths to reach certain events and locations. These routes belong to the original exploration system.

Town

  • North → North → North: Find or lose Cash.
  • South → East → South: Ice-cream Girls.
  • East → East → North: Car Wash Girls.
  • West → North → West: Burning Building / Samantha-related location.
  • A route that leads nowhere: Use Look Around for the Street Girl encounter.
  • Evening exploration: Reporter Girl event.

Outskirts

  • North → North → North: Find or lose Crystals.
  • North → West → South: First Goblin Witch encounter.
  • South → South → West: Caretaker.
  • East → North → North: Volleyball Girls.
  • East → South → West: Mushroom area.
  • Evening exploration: Festival.

Mountains

  • North → North → North: Find or lose Potion.
  • North → West → West: Beach Girls.
  • West → West → South: Lake / Fish Girls area.
  • East → North → East: Lamia.
  • Evening exploration: Observatory.

Exploration Powers and Special Encounters

Most powers do not work during normal exploration in the legacy system. The guide identifies several important exceptions:

  • Drift: Used during the Goblin Witch hat sequence.
  • Endure: Used in the Samantha-related apartment event.
  • Aura: Used in certain Town encounters, including the Car Wash and Ice-cream events, and in some later legacy interactions.

The random Find/Lose encounters were not designed as reliable farming methods. Attempting to farm Human, Fey or Eldritch currency could also result in losing resources.

Car Wash Event

Borrow Jessica’s car, reach the Car Wash encounter and follow the available event options. Aura can unlock an additional variation in the legacy event.

Ice-cream Event

Reach the Ice-cream Girls through Town exploration and use Aura when the relevant option appears.

Street Girl

Choose a direction that does not lead to a special destination, then use Look Around. This encounter also demonstrates the legacy speech/power interaction system.

Fish Girls

After obtaining Endless Air, explore the Mountains toward the lake, investigate the underwater encounter, and follow the related progression involving the marina and Nexus.

Goblin Witch Lyx Walkthrough

Lyx is one of the most important exploration-related characters in the legacy game because her storyline is tied to unlocking additional powers.

First Encounter

  1. Explore the Outskirts.
  2. Use North → West → South to encounter the Goblin Witch.
  3. Continue exploring until you obtain the witch-related hat.
  4. Use the Drift power when required.
  5. Reach the cottage and inspect the hat in your inventory if the cottage has not yet been revealed.

Unlock Endure

  1. Talk to Lyx at her cottage.
  2. Pay attention to the type of mushroom she requests.
  3. Travel to the Mushroom area in the Outskirts.
  4. Collect the requested mushroom.
  5. Return it to Lyx.

Completing this progression unlocks Endure.

Rescue Lyx

After obtaining Endure, return to Lyx’s progression if the rescue event does not trigger immediately. Completing the rescue properly introduces Lyx and opens additional follow-up content.

Pixie Follow-up

After rescuing Lyx, return to the Manor and speak with Pixie. This unlocks additional options connected with Pixie’s problem.

Unlock Aura

  1. Continue Lyx’s magic training.
  2. Speak to her at the cottage.
  3. Collect the next requested mushroom.
  4. Return it to her.

This progression unlocks Aura.

Nexus Keys and Commands

Command Result
think about gramps Unlocks access to Gramps’ Dojo from the Nexus and Nexus access from that location.
think about arc Triggers an Arc / developer-related skit. Variants of the developer name may also work.
whistle Unlocks Endless Air and access to Water World.
think backwards Leads to an empty-void response.
key Displays a special response about taking the idea of a key literally.
help Triggers a Pixie explanation of the Nexus system.
clap Associated with the Wasteland destination in later legacy guide revisions.
Blank / unknown input Returns a generic invalid-code response.

Luna Tunnels

The full legacy guide also includes a Luna Tunnels map. The original reference recommends marking the map with notes while exploring so that junctions and previously tested routes are easier to track.

Note: The source guide contains the tunnel map as an image rather than a complete text route list. Because the map itself is not available as structured text in the indexed source, this page does not invent tunnel directions that cannot be verified.

Preparing for Act 3

Act 3 significantly changes the legacy game state. The guide warns players to complete any older content they still want to see before beginning the church-related point-of-no-return progression.

The transition begins through the mystery objective that returns the protagonist to the church. Once Act 3 begins, many old locations and interactions are changed or temporarily unavailable.

War Room

  1. Find Jessica at the Front Door on Sunday afternoon when the required progression has been reached.
  2. Select Strategize with Jessica.
  3. The War Room then becomes available as a Manor location.

The War Room becomes one of the main hubs for Act 3 territorial progression.

Combat Skills in Act 3

Legacy Act 3 combat skills are learned through real battles rather than practice fights. Supporting allied characters during sector battles can unlock or develop combat abilities.

Boss recruitment also depends on territorial progression. The player generally needs to defeat the relevant sector before the defeated character can be processed through the recruitment systems available in Act 3.

Act 3 Character Locations

Character Legacy Location / Requirement
Emma Can appear in an evening random event while moving between rooms. After reclaiming the relevant districts, further progression involves the Apartment Block.
Hana / Ard Kitchen during the morning or afternoon.
Lily Park on Saturday or Sunday mornings. Later progression can move her back toward the Bar / Manor storyline.
Molly Garden during the morning or afternoon.
Chloe War Room during the morning and afternoon.
Pixie MC’s bedroom.
Puppet Nun East Hallway.
Lyx Conquer the Apartment Block and then sleep in the Manor bedroom to trigger her return progression.

Buildings in Act 3

Building District Function
Construction Yard Hillside Allows construction of additional special buildings after it has been repaired.
Training Grounds The Glades Can permanently increase the protagonist’s PHY stat and may support additional progression.
The Clearing The Glades Provides optional story and character moments connected with the protagonist and Pixie.
Rehabilitation Centre Northside Provides an alternative recruitment system for defeated Boss Girls and supports recruitment of certain Goons.

Recipes

Recipe How to Obtain Effect
Sugar Water Investigate the Hillside Development district after conquering it. Restores approximately half of maximum WP in the legacy guide.
Pepperoni Pizza Associated with Hana’s progression / recipe system. Restores approximately half of maximum HP.

Supplies

Supply Legacy Source

Sugar Hillside Development.
Construction Materials Hillside after discovering the Construction Yard.
Vegetables The Glades.

War Map Progression

The War Map is the core territory-management interface of legacy Act 3. Districts can be investigated, conquered and then searched for resources or special structures. Some character events, recruitment options and construction systems only become available after specific districts have been secured.

Legacy Console Commands

Warning: Console editing can break progression, schedules or saves. Always create a separate save before changing variables. These commands belong to legacy builds and should not be assumed to work in the Remake.

  • bag_cash — Human currency.
  • bag_gems — Fey currency.
  • bag_potions — Eldritch currency.
  • gold — Act 3 resource/currency variable in the legacy guide.

Legacy Version vs Corrupted Kingdoms Remake

The current Corrupted Kingdoms Remake is not simply a continuation of the old build. The project was rebuilt with revised exploration, schedules, dialogue progression, investigation systems and other structural changes.

For that reason, this page intentionally preserves the older walkthrough as a legacy reference instead of relabeling old directions as a Remake walkthrough.

What Still Makes This Guide Useful?

Even though the exact routes are legacy-specific, this guide remains useful for players returning to older saves, checking historical content, understanding how Act 3 worked in the original game, or comparing the old progression systems with the Remake.

Summary

The original Corrupted Kingdoms developed into a large interconnected sandbox with exploration puzzles, character schedules, powers, territorial control and Act 3 management systems. Successful progression often depended on knowing where characters were located, which district had been conquered and which exploration or story requirement had already been completed.

This walkthrough preserves those legacy systems while clearly separating them from the current Remake. Players using the latest release should treat the page as historical/reference material and use current Remake-specific information whenever the two versions differ.

Editorial note: This page consolidates and restructures information from the legacy Corrupted Kingdoms community guide. Some original guide elements, including the Luna Tunnels and War Map, were image-based; where the source did not provide reliable text directions, this article does not invent them.
