The hotel is more than just a setting. Each guest has her own personality, background, and reasons for staying, giving the protagonist several different relationships to explore. The developer’s current design includes characters such as Carla, Kate, Laura, Eva, Melany, and Natalie.

The protagonist’s role as the new owner also provides a natural reason to interact with everyone. The contrast between running the hotel and understanding its guests creates an interesting foundation for the story.

Relationship System

One of the most promising features is the affinity system. Interactions can increase or decrease affection with individual characters, while getting closer to one character can potentially affect relationships with others through jealousy mechanics. Affinity can also determine which events and endings become available.

Time & Reputation
