Jikage Rising Walkthrough & Guide – Arc 1 & Arc 2

This Jikage Rising walkthrough covers the official progression routes for Arc 1 and Arc 2, including character control levels, Submission requirements, boss fights, important stat checks, outfits, special events and cheat codes.

The walkthrough is based on the official guide published by Smiling Dog and updated through v1.27. Jikage Rising has since progressed into Arc 3, so this page should be used specifically for Arc 1 and Arc 2 progression rather than as a complete walkthrough for every event in the latest release.

The official walkthrough includes several cheat codes. Go to the Village Gate and select Scribble, then enter one of the following codes:

Ayame at the Ramen Shop can also provide hints if you are unsure how to advance a character.

Sakura Level 1

1. Go to the Hokage Office and talk to Sakura.
2. Go on a mission and take damage.
3. Return to Sakura and ask her to heal you.
4. Repeat the mission-and-healing process three times.
5. Complete the bar-based minigame.

If you fail the minigame, you will need to battle Sakura instead. Completing the event gives you control over her.

Sakura Level 2

1. Raise Sakura’s Submission to 100.
2. Talk to her in the Hokage Building.
3. A special mission becomes available.
4. Accept the mission.
5. Bring antidotes if possible.
6. Defeat the boss.

Sakura Level 3

1. Raise Sakura’s Submission to 250.
2. Talk to her in the Hokage Building.
3. Choose What would Naruto do?
4. Complete the minigame.

Sakura Level 4

1. Raise Sakura’s Submission to 400.
2. Ask Ayame for information about Sakura.
3. Talk to Sakura in the Hokage Building.
4. Go to the Village Gate and talk to Saru.
5. Talk to Sakura again.
6. Complete the maze.

Sakura Level 5

1. Raise Sakura’s Submission to 500.
2. Return home.

Ino Level 1

1. Go to the Flower Shop and meet Ino.
2. Return to the shop and spread rumors about it.
3. Repeat this three times.
4. Talk to Ino again.
5. Complete the minigame.

If you fail the minigame, you will have to defeat Ino in battle. Success gives you control over her.

Ino Level 2

1. Raise Ino’s Submission to 100.
2. Talk to her at the Flower Shop.
3. Choose to help her.
4. Either raise Strength to 35 or obtain 50,000 Ryo.
5. Go to the Stadium.
6. Choose either available option to continue.

Ino Level 3

1. Raise Ino’s Submission to 250.
2. Talk to her at the Flower Shop.
3. Choose to help her.
4. For the route puzzle choose: Left → Right → Straight → Left → Left → Straight.

Ino Level 4

1. Raise Ino’s Submission to 400.
2. Ask Ayame for information about Ino.
3. Talk to Ino in her shop.
4. Go to the Village Gate and talk to Saru.
5. Talk to Ino again for the first Level 4 event.
6. Complete the maze.

Ino Level 5

1. Raise Ino’s Submission to 500.
2. Go home.

Tenten Level 1

1. Go to the Training Grounds.
2. Look around and talk to Tenten.
3. Wait one day and talk to her again.
4. Select Let’s do this.
5. Complete the minigame.

The minigame becomes easier with higher Dexterity. The easiest difficulty becomes available at 35 Dex.

Tenten Level 2

1. Raise Tenten’s Submission to 100.
2. Talk to her at the Training Grounds.
3. Follow the clues to the Bathhouse, Stadium and Hokage Office.
4. Return to the Training Grounds and meet Tenten.

Tenten Level 3

1. Raise Tenten’s Submission to 250.
2. Ask Ayame about Tenten.
3. Train at the Training Grounds.
4. Fight and defeat Tenten.

Tenten Level 4

1. Raise Tenten’s Submission to 400.
2. Ask Ayame for information about Tenten.
3. Talk to Tenten at the Training Grounds.
4. Talk to Saru at the Village Gate.
5. Return to Tenten for the first Level 4 event.
6. Complete the maze.

Tenten Level 5

1. Raise Tenten’s Submission to 500.
2. Go home.

Hinata Level 1

1. Go to the Hokage Office.
2. Select Do a mission.
3. Check the Rank D missions.
4. Have at least 30 Dex.
5. Go to the Hyuga Mansion.
6. Return to the mansion two more times.

Hinata Level 2

1. Get Hinata to Level 1 and 100 Submission.
2. Ask Ayame about Hinata at the Ramen Shop.
3. Talk to Hinata at the Hyuga Mansion.

Hinata Level 3

1. Get Hinata to Level 2 and 250 Submission.
2. Ask Ayame about Hinata.
3. Talk to Hinata at the Hyuga Mansion.
4. Ask to train with Kurenai.
5. Cast the Genjutsu on Hinata.

Hinata Level 4

1. Raise Hinata’s Submission to 400.
2. Ask Ayame for information about Hinata.
3. Talk to Hinata at the Hyuga Mansion.
4. Go to the Village Gate and talk to Saru.
5. Talk to Hinata again.
6. Complete the maze.

Hinata Level 5

1. Raise Hinata’s Submission to 500.
2. Go home.

Anko Level 1

1. Raise Tenten’s Lust above 90 and talk to her during the day.
2. Go to the Ramen Shop.
3. Order the Deluxe Seafood Ramen.
4. Have at least 10,000 Ryo.
5. Before continuing, have at least 40 Ctrl and 40 Knw.
6. Trigger a high-Lust event with a compatible character.
7. After Anko appears, trigger another high-Lust event.

Anko Level 2

1. Raise Anko’s Submission above 100.
2. Trigger another high-Lust event.

Anko Level 3

1. Raise Anko’s Submission above 250.
2. Trigger another high-Lust event.

Kurenai Level 1

1. Get Hinata to Level 5.
2. Talk to Hinata about Kurenai.
3. The event then triggers automatically.

Kurenai Level 2

1. Get Kurenai to Level 1 and 100 Submission.
2. Go to the Hyuga Mansion.
3. Select Talk to Hinata about Kurenai.

Shizune Level 1

1. Get Sakura to Level 5.
2. Talk to Sakura about Shizune.
3. Go to the Hokage Office.
4. Select the option to control Shizune.

You can knock Shizune out directly if you have at least 30 Str and 30 Dex, or use the powder route. Higher Knowledge and Control make the powder minigame easier.

Shizune Level 2

1. Raise Shizune to 100 Submission.
2. Go to the Hokage Office.
3. Select the option to increase your control.

Shizune Level 3

1. Raise Shizune to 250 Submission.
2. Return to the Hokage Office.
3. Select the control upgrade option again.

Tsunade Level 1

1. Get Sakura, Ino, Tenten and Hinata to Level 5.
2. Go to your room at night.
3. Collect the required materials shown by the game.
4. Start the quest once all materials are available.
5. Complete the minigame.

Tsunade Level 2

1. Get Tsunade to Level 1 and 100 Submission.
2. Go home at night.
3. Select Tsunade.
4. Choose the option to expand your control.
5. Select Level 2.

Tsunade Level 3

1. Get Tsunade to Level 2 and 250 Submission.
2. Go home at night.
3. Select the control expansion option.
4. Select Level 3.
5. The next morning, go to the Training Grounds.
6. Select the newly available option.

If every available controlled character is at least Level 3, the fight can be skipped. Otherwise, you must defeat Tsunade.

The Bunny, Swimsuit and School Uniform outfits are crafted at the Clothing Shop. The official walkthrough separately lists several non-craftable costumes.

Sakura Outfits

• Nurse Outfit: Randomly received by talking to Sakura in the office while she is Level 4.
• Corrupt Outfit: Received after leaving your house once Sakura reaches Level 5.
• Secret Outfit: Has a 10% chance to come from the box with a sweet smell at the Stadium.

Ino Outfits

• Apron: Work at Ino’s shop four times after she reaches Level 4.
• Corrupt Outfit: Talk to Ino in her shop after reaching Level 5.
• Secret Outfit: Has a 10% chance to come from the small neat box at the Stadium.

Tenten Outfits

• Green Suit: Randomly given when talking to Tenten at the Training Grounds after Level 4.
• Corrupt Outfit: Talk to Tenten at the Training Grounds after Level 5.
• Secret Outfit: Has a 10% chance to come from the box marked Fragile at the Stadium.

Hinata Outfits

• Maid Outfit: Randomly given by talking to Hinata at the Mansion after Level 4.
• Corrupt Outfit: Sleep at night after reaching Hinata Level 5.
• Secret Outfit: Has a 10% chance to come from the musky-smelling box at the Stadium.

Arc 2 introduces a new group of characters and shifts progression into a wider chain involving Suna, Kumo, the Five Kage storyline and later characters such as Kurotsuchi, Mei and Karin.

Temari Level 1

Start the Arc 2 tutorial. Temari is unlocked as part of the tutorial progression.

Temari Level 3

1. Raise Temari’s Submission to 200.
2. Talk to her in your room.
3. Select Increase your control over her.

Temari Level 5

1. Raise Temari’s Submission to 500.
2. Talk to her in your room.
3. Select the control increase option again.

Temari’s Mission Outfit can be purchased from the Clothing Store for 250,000 Ryo.

1. Get Temari to Level 5.
2. Talk to Temari in your room at night.
3. Select Ask about Suna Kunoichis.
4. Select Air headed ninja.
5. Defeat Yukata.

1. Get Temari to Level 5.
2. Ask her about the Suna Kunoichis at night.
3. Select Gaara’s student.
4. Defeat Matsuri.

1. Get Temari to Level 5.
2. Ask Temari about the Suna Kunoichis.
3. Select A more experienced ninja.
4. Defeat Sari.

Samui Level 1

1. Get Temari to Level 5 control.
2. At night in your room, select Discuss the next stage of the plan.
3. View Pain’s attack.
4. Defeat Samui.

Samui Level 3

1. Raise Samui to 200 Submission.
2. Talk to her in your room.
3. Select Increase your control over her.
4. Train Agility until you are comfortable with the race.
5. Talk to Samui again the following night.
6. Beat her in the race.

Samui Level 5

1. Raise both Samui and Karui to 500 Submission.
2. Attempt to upgrade Karui.
3. Attempt to upgrade Samui.
4. Go to the Village Gate the next day.
5. Meet Saru.

Karui Level 1

1. Get Samui to Control Level 3.
2. Talk to Samui in your room at night.
3. Ask for help with Karui.

Karui Level 3

1. Raise Karui to 200 Submission.
2. Talk to Karui in your room at night.
3. Go to the Hyuga Mansion.
4. Meet Kurenai with Hinata.
5. Talk to Karui again at night.
6. Choose either option when prompted.
7. Then choose Give up.

Karui Level 5

1. Raise both Karui and Samui to 500 Submission.
2. Attempt to upgrade both characters.
3. Visit the Village Gate the following day.
4. Meet Saru.

Mabui Level 1

After advancing the Samui and Karui progression far enough, an option becomes available to send them to capture Mabui.

Mabui Level 3

1. Raise Mabui to 300 Submission.
2. Use the newly available Mabui progression option.

Mabui Level 5

1. Raise Mabui to 500 Submission.
2. Select the next new progression option.

Kurotsuchi Level 1

1. View the Five Kage Meeting event.
2. Return to your room.
3. Choose to proceed to the island.

Kurotsuchi Level 3

1. Get Kurotsuchi to Level 1.
2. Raise her Submission to 300.
3. At night, choose to increase your control over her.

Kurotsuchi Level 5

1. Get Kurotsuchi to Level 3.
2. Raise her Submission to 500.
3. Increase your control over her again at night.

Mei Level 1

1. Get Kurotsuchi to Level 5.
2. Continue the plan from your room.
3. Select the option to meet Mei.

Mei Level 2

1. Raise Mei to 200 Submission.
2. Go to your room and select the newly unlocked option.
3. Complete the target minigame.

Try to hit at least 15 red targets. Blue targets lower your score. Higher Dexterity slows the targets and makes the minigame easier.

Mei Level 3

1. Raise Mei to 300 Submission.
2. Return to your room.
3. Select the newly available progression option.

Mei Level 4

1. Raise Mei to 400 Submission.
2. Select the new option in your room.
3. Defeat Mei.

After attempting the fight once, a skip option can become available.

Mei Level 5

1. Raise Mei to 500 Submission.
2. Return to your room.
3. Select the new control progression option.

Kurenai

Kurenai can randomly appear at the Hyuga Mansion during Arc 2.

Anko

Anko can randomly appear at the Academy.

Ayame

Additional Ayame scenes become available after Temari reaches Level 5.

Karin Level 1

1. View Karin’s introduction after sending Samui and Karui after Mabui.
2. Talk to Karin in the Hokage Building.
3. Talk to Saru.
4. Talk to Tsunade.
5. Obtain one Weird Flower.
6. Obtain one Green Dye.
7. Talk to Karin again.

Weird Flowers can drop from plants at a low rate and are also associated with the cultist ninja mission. Green Dye can drop from the green plant or be purchased from Ino’s shop.

Karin Levels 2–5

Visit Karin in the cell when she reaches the major Submission thresholds:

• 200 Submission
• 300 Submission
• 400 Submission
• 500 Submission

1. Get Temari to Level 5.
2. From your room, select See what the tailor has.
3. Visit the Ramen Shop.
4. Visit the Training Grounds.
5. Visit the Academy.

1. Make sure you have already viewed Pain’s attack.
2. At night in your room, select the option to meet Ayame with the girls.
3. Continue until you meet Tenten.
4. Select Talk no Jutsu.
5. Continue with Talk no Jutsu: Finishing Blow.

Many character routes use repeating Submission thresholds. If an upgrade option does not appear, check both the character’s current control level and Submission.

If you reach the required Submission level but no new event appears, check the other conditions before assuming the game is bugged.

• Make sure the character is already at the required previous control level.
• Check whether the event must be started during the day or at night.
• Visit the correct location, such as the Hokage Office, Hyuga Mansion, Training Grounds or your room.
• Ask Ayame for information when the walkthrough requires it.
• Check whether Saru must be visited before returning to the character.
• Verify Strength, Dexterity, Control or Knowledge requirements.
• For Arc 2, make sure earlier characters in the progression chain have already reached their required levels.
• Some events require viewing major story scenes such as Pain’s attack or the Five Kage Meeting first.

Arc 1 allows some freedom, but the dependency structure makes the following general order practical:

1. Sakura
2. Ino
3. Tenten
4. Hinata
5. Anko
6. Kurenai
7. Shizune
8. Get Sakura, Ino, Tenten and Hinata to Level 5
9. Begin Tsunade’s progression
10. Complete remaining Arc 1 control levels and outfits

1. Start Arc 2 and unlock Temari.
2. Raise Temari to Level 5.
3. Unlock Yukata, Matsuri and Sari.
4. Advance the plan and unlock Samui.
5. Raise Samui to Level 3.
6. Unlock and progress Karui.
7. Raise Samui and Karui toward Level 5.
8. Advance Mabui’s capture and control progression.
9. Continue through the Five Kage Meeting.
10. Unlock Kurotsuchi.
11. Raise Kurotsuchi to Level 5.
12. Begin Mei’s route.
13. Progress Karin after her introduction becomes available.

The official source used for this page is specifically the Arc 1 and Arc 2 walkthrough as of v1.27. Jikage Rising has since progressed into Arc 3.

This means the character routes and requirements documented above remain useful for the first two arcs, but this page does not claim that those instructions cover every Arc 3 character or quest.

Players using a newer version should treat this as the structured Arc 1–2 progression guide and follow current in-game objectives or the developer’s separate Arc 3 guide once they reach later content.

The most important progression mechanic in Jikage Rising is not simply accumulating Submission. Many level upgrades also depend on previous control levels, specific locations, time of day, character prerequisites, story events and stat checks.

In Arc 1, Sakura, Ino, Tenten and Hinata form the core progression group and ultimately unlock Tsunade’s route. Ayame and Saru are also important because several Level 4 events rely on obtaining information from Ayame before visiting Saru and returning to the target character.

Arc 2 introduces a longer dependency chain. Temari leads into the Suna characters and Samui, Samui opens Karui’s progression, those routes contribute to Mabui, and later story events lead into Kurotsuchi, Mei and Karin.

If an event is not appearing, verify the character’s Submission, current control level, required stat values, location, time and previous story scenes before grinding additional Submission.
