What is Lunar’s Chosen about?

The story follows a young man who moves in with his longtime friend Katie and receives a goddess’s gift. His developing powers bring unusual relationships, supernatural discoveries, and danger into his life.

Is Episode 2 a continuation or a remake?

Episode 2 continues the established story and relationships. It is distributed as a separate game, so starting with Episode 1 provides the intended narrative context.

Where can I check character hints?

In Episode 2, hints are accessible through the phone from the navigation menu. They help identify the next step in a character’s storyline.

Why does a character’s story require progress with someone else?

Some storylines are interconnected. If a hint directs you toward another character, follow that character’s requirements before returning to your original objective.

Are all optional scenes listed in the hints?

No. Some side scenes are discovered while performing activities around the world. The hints should not be treated as a complete checklist of every optional encounter.

Can you replay unlocked scenes?

Yes. Episode 2 includes a “stats and replays” menu on the protagonist’s computer. Replay entries are organized into character sections.

Is recovering older photoshoots required for the story?

No. Recovering older photoshoots through Emily is optional. Some shop items are required for progression, so consider those purchases before spending money on the collection.

Can you adjust content preferences?

Yes. Episode 2 includes a content preferences menu for selected themes, including futanari content. Review these settings before progressing through the story.

Is Lunar’s Chosen available on Android?

Yes. PTGames provides official Android packages for both episodes alongside desktop releases. Choose the Android download for the episode you intend to play rather than installing a desktop archive.

A little later than planned, but it’s here finally. V0.2 is now ready for its supporter release! There’s all the story content I wanted to add, but it’s missing a lot of the extra content I wanted to put in due to being too busy with life to get it done. It’ll be coming in future updates instead and there’s still plenty of interesting content to see in this update.

Episode 2 v0.2 Beta
The next beta is here! It doesn’t contain quite as much content as I’d have liked, but with the wedding, I’ve not had time to add the extra scenes I wanted. Hopefully I’ll be able to get them into beta 3, but with getting a new puppy today. I’m unsure how my time will be in the next couple of weeks…

The first beta is here. It has four new story scenes, three new animations and a new photoshoot, but the main thing that I’ve done for this update is changed the code for going to sleep, which is what needs testing in case there’s any unusual behaviour as some events lead to sleeping in different ways.
I changed this code because now you can sleep with Amber at night! This is something that has been planned for a while and requested a lot, so I finally got round to adding it!

Note – New game recommended if you want the achievements.
If you want to continue an old save, you’ll have to go to the old save location /appdata/roaming/lunarschosen-1549893754 and move them to the new one which should be /appdata/roaming/ren’py/ptgames/lunarschosen. Similar changes should be made to MAC and android save locations.
Of course, if you are starting a new save, you don’t need to worry about that as the game will automatically save and load in the new location!

This update changed quite a bit during development from what was originally planned. I think it’s the first that hits over 110 renders for a single scene.
