2026-04-10: Day 7 – part 1

• Dialogue polish (Day 1–6) The most common piece of feedback I’ve received is that the humor and sarcasm between characters can be a bit much. I’ve gone back and rewritten quite a few dialogue sections across Day 1 through 6 to tone it down. Not removing the humor entirely, just making it a little more balanced.
• Lea is now a Love Interest! After many requests, Lea has been officially upgraded to a full Love Interest. She’ll have a much bigger role in the story going forward. The full relationship overview (with points per girl) will be shown at the end of Day 7 Part 2. The current LIs are: Anaru, Blair, Ember, Hana, and Lea.
• New animation + mobile phone rework Lea’s OnlyCheers scene in Day 6 has been updated, the final image has been replaced with an animation (a treat for feet lovers ). Due to the explicite nature, I’m not allowed to add it here separately. This change required a rework of the in-game phone system, which can now also play videos.
• Mark’s love life Mark’s romantic future is in your hands. If you’re not pursuing Anaru or Lea yourself, there will be a possibility to set Mark up with one of them, this will become part of the story.

2026-02-13: Chapter 3 – Day 6 (version 2, with animations)

• Added the first animations!

2026-01-23: Chapter 3 – Day 6

• Over 3500 lines of code
• Roughly 2.20h of gameplay for one single branch
• Walking lunch in the park with Hana
• Flirting and an invitation from Vanessa

• A large scene at the punk rock show with Blair and Ember

2025-11-23: Chapter 3 – Day 5 patch (Ember as a friend)
For the very few not on the Ember path, I’ve added a small patch of the day4 file. There was one error in it, which meant the branch where you are just friends with Ember didn’t work. Download the Chapter2_day4.rpy file and overwrite the existing file in your Game folder. You would then need to load a save from Day 4, before your choice of your relationship with Ember (exclusive, open or friends).

2025-11-23: Chapter 3 – Day 5

• Over 2000 lines of code
• Lunchdate with Anaru
• Big shopping and pizza experience with Ember
• Helping Lea with her OnlyCheers page, she shares a bit too much
• A dreamy ending of the day
• Deeping of the relationship with Blair

2025-10-27: version 0.22

• To comply with Patreon and Steam rules: Rewrote the script so that Ember always is your roommate, no choice anymore for her being your stepsister. Use the incest patch if you want Ember to be your sister. The patch will never be available on Patreon or Steam. The patch will work for all future versions.
• Added an in-game phone gui. Rewrote the several text messages so that it uses the phone. The phone will be used for messages to and from other characters, plus for receiving photos from the other characters. I’m unable to test myself, but it should work on the Android port once a new version is released by KoGa3.

2025-10-25: version 0.21

• Added incest patch functionality (download the zip and put file zzz_ember.rpy in your game folder)
• Corrected the maximum relation points to be earned for Blair
• Fixed a spelling error

2025-10-19: Chapter 2 (version 0.20)

Welcome to my first game ‘Secrets in Focus’. Any feedback is welcome, I hope you like it!

The game will have several romantic branches.

19-10-2025:
This big update was done really fast because of a few weeks of 14 hours a day in my holiday. That will not be the norm though. I’m hoping for the future to have similar sized updates, I think I would aim at somewhere between 2,5 to 4 months per update.

What’s next?
I have a few things on my “to do” / “to learn” list.
An android port (Done, thanks to the amazing KoGa3)
A steam release
Animations for the sex scenes
Add an in-game mobile phone for messages and images
Improve my “inpainting” skills so characters fit into the background better and lighting improvement
