NEW – A small quest named ‘Bot Lore Conversation’ happens early in the game to provide background information. In saved games it will appear as a flashback scene.
NEW – There are 2 new BBS requests to buy bots from you. They are from poor customers who can only afford ‘D’ rated bots.
IMPROVEMENT – When buying and selling bot parts you can now transfer 1, 2, 5, or 10 parts at a time instead of only 1 at a time.

v0.11.2
SR24-0.11.2 took me longer than I expected but it’s finally finished and should be included in ‘Latest Updates’ soon. As always, I post a link here first and you can always find the latest version in the signature on any of my posts.

This version includes a new quest called ‘Friends with Benefits’ and some new stats for the MC. The new quest is the personal side of the last quest called ‘Good Neighbors’ and in a perfect world they would have been released together. The ‘readme’ file included with the game includes a new section called ‘development plan’ which briefly explains how the game will progress in future versions. Also, there is information in the ‘change log’ file explaining that the new MC stats do NOT require you to start a new game.

The new quest starts automatically shortly after ‘Good Neighbor’ ends. Just continue playing or resume playing from a saved game and it will happen.

I’m taking a small risk with this version; there was no outside testing done and I’ve got my fingers crossed. I believe the risk is low, the new quest is a VN within the game and there is minimal interaction between the quest and other parts of the game.

Previous versions of SR24 were posted on the ‘Defective Sexbot Chop Shop’ page here on F95Zone.

SR24 is a variant of ‘Defective Sexbot Chop Shop’ (DSCS) by Radnor and uses the same game mechanics. Radnor designed DSCS to allow players to write mods adding content to the game. SR24 supports MOST mods created for DSCS. After installing the game, more information can be found in a folder named ‘game\information’. Information about creating and using mods can be found on the DSCS page here on F95Zone.
For those of you who played DSCS I’m sure you know who ‘Mr_Shaky’ is. He gave me permission to reference his ‘Mods’ post in the ‘Extras’ section on the DSCS game page. This is the definitive source of information on mods for DSCS and SR24. If you use the link please keep in mind that his excellent work was done for DSCS not for SR24. Most (NOT all) mods for DSCS will work on SR24 however Mr_Shaky has no way to know which mods work on SR24 and which ones don’t work on SR24. Do NOT blame him if you have trouble using mods with SR24, instead come here and I’ll do my best to help you.
