Download game By Justice or Mercy [v26] [APK]

Does By Justice or Mercy focus more on revenge or romance?

Both elements are equally important. Revenge provides the main motivation behind the story, while romance and character relationships gradually develop alongside the protagonist’s search for justice. The game balances emotional storytelling with relationship progression rather than treating romance as optional side content.

Do player choices significantly affect the story?

Yes. Many conversations and decisions influence how the protagonist approaches different situations and relationships. While the overall narrative continues toward the same central conflict, individual choices affect character interactions, event progression, and several relationship outcomes.

Can I pursue multiple romance routes in one playthrough?

The game currently supports multiple relationship paths. However, some scenes and conversations may change depending on your previous decisions, so keeping multiple save files before important choices is recommended.

How much content does the current version include?

The project has grown into one of the larger ongoing visual novels. Recent releases include more than 13,000 renders, over 60 story scenes, dozens of animations, and more than 100,000 words of dialogue, with new story chapters continuing to arrive through regular updates.

Will my save files work after installing a new update?

In most cases, existing saves remain compatible between versions. Nevertheless, backing up your save files before installing major releases is recommended, especially when a new story day or significant gameplay changes are introduced.

Is there exploration or is the game mostly linear?

The gameplay follows a traditional visual novel structure focused on dialogue, choices, and event progression. Exploration exists primarily through discovering optional conversations, relationship events, and different character routes rather than navigating a large open world.

How frequently does Tower Boy update the game?

The developer maintains a consistent release schedule, with public updates regularly introducing new story days, hundreds of additional renders, new scenes, animations, and quality improvements. This steady pace has helped the project continue expanding over time.

Is By Justice or Mercy suitable for new players?

Yes. Although the game already contains a substantial amount of content, the story begins by introducing the protagonist’s background and motivations, making it easy for new players to understand the narrative without needing outside material.

What makes By Justice or Mercy different from other visual novels?

Instead of focusing solely on romance, the game builds its narrative around justice, betrayal, and personal redemption. This gives player decisions greater emotional impact while allowing character relationships to develop naturally alongside the central revenge storyline.

Is the project still actively developed?

Yes. The game remains in active development, with frequent public releases that continue expanding the main story, adding new animations, improving older artwork, and introducing additional character content.

Hello, this is my first project and I am a solo dev. I wanted a game with a good amount of Netori (MC cucking others) and a game about revenge featuring a complex main character.
I also wanted the main character to be cool but have some serious flaws that give him depth and who will gradually change based on the players choices.
