    Straitened Times is a 3D adult sandbox game developed by HRelease. The story follows a young man living as part of a small religious Commune with Mother Superior, Holy Father and two novice Sisters. Despite the family-style titles used within the group, the characters are not blood relatives.

    Their comfortable life suddenly collapses when Father is arrested for financial theft. With their money and previous home gone, the remaining members of the Commune are forced to start again from the bottom, moving into just two rooms at a cheap motel. The protagonist unexpectedly becomes the man responsible for helping the group survive while living in much closer quarters with the women around him.

    That premise develops into an adult sandbox built around money, daily activities, character relationships and sexual progression.
